Trekking to the far end of the world - Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Hidden away from the rest of the world, Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Patagonia, Chile is a beautiful gem that completely blew my mind during our 5 day trek last week. I still dream about it every night and can't wait to go back.

What is it about lighthouses?

I love lighthouses. And I know I'm not the only one. The attraction lighthouses has on me is equivalent to what lots of people feel when they see a brand new Aston Martin in the street or probably how a horse enthusiast feels when a proud Arabic horse is running across the fields in the sunset. There's something magic about them.

How quick can you shoot before the light is gone?

skapad 2015-02-11 i 'Green Adventures Blog'

Lukasz Warzecha has been fully dedicated to his camera for over 5 years now and with his work companion he's been exploring amazing rock faces, impressive mountains, weirdly shaped frozen water falls, lively waters and stunning landscapes all over the world.

I love my island and it's a special feeling to show it to people who come and visit. Especially people who had no idea that the Swedish west coast could be that mystic, magic, magnificent and mind blowing. One evening we had the most fantastic experience with the bioluminescence and the day after we ran down to the water about 40 minutes before the light was gone to shoot some kayaking pictures of me in the blue mist.

Watching Lukasz reacting so quickly to how the light was changing was impressive to see. We needed to be quick. No time for a coffee break really. It felt like everything was almost over even before it started. But the pictures turned out great in the blue light and I think both my boat, the Lettmann Biscaya LV and my paddling kit from Palm Equipment look great on the pictures thanks to a great photographer and a giant parabolic octa (whatever that is...) ;-)

If you click the pictures, they will be presented in a Light Box.
