Trekking to the far end of the world - Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Hidden away from the rest of the world, Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Patagonia, Chile is a beautiful gem that completely blew my mind during our 5 day trek last week. I still dream about it every night and can't wait to go back.

What is it about lighthouses?

I love lighthouses. And I know I'm not the only one. The attraction lighthouses has on me is equivalent to what lots of people feel when they see a brand new Aston Martin in the street or probably how a horse enthusiast feels when a proud Arabic horse is running across the fields in the sunset. There's something magic about them.

Looking forward to another great year with Palm Equipment.

A new year. A brand new year. Well, actually, not really. An old brand new year actually. I've been supported by the UK based paddling gear manufacturer Palm Equipment for a few years now and I'm happy to be supported by them also during 2015. During last year you could read about my white water trip to Slovenia on the Palm Blog.

Over the years I've had the opportunity to be wearing great, colourful, comfortable kit from Palm and I can't wait for the new gear to arrive. Their range is very wide and suits everyone from the hard core white water paddler to the curious sea kayaker to the most dedicated canoeist and stubborn SUP paddlers you can find on this planet.

I spent a few days at ISPO, the largest outdoor and sports show in the world, last week and it was great to catch up with Rowie and Paul from Palm, to check out the latest line of Palm products and to discuss upcoming paddling plans for 2015.

If you're curious to check out their awesome range of paddling gear, have a look at their website or follow them on Facebook.

I'm looking forward to a great paddling year being supported by Palm Equipment. I only need to spend a few more months in the Alps before the paddling season starts for me this year.

Happy faces at ISPO. Me, Paul and Rowie.
