Trekking to the far end of the world - Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Hidden away from the rest of the world, Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Patagonia, Chile is a beautiful gem that completely blew my mind during our 5 day trek last week. I still dream about it every night and can't wait to go back.

What is it about lighthouses?

I love lighthouses. And I know I'm not the only one. The attraction lighthouses has on me is equivalent to what lots of people feel when they see a brand new Aston Martin in the street or probably how a horse enthusiast feels when a proud Arabic horse is running across the fields in the sunset. BCU 4 Star Training in Wales

skapad 2012-10-28 i 'Green Adventures Blog'

There was a 10 meter tide in Liverpool the first few days of the BCU 4 Star training that took place 15-19 October along the Anglesey coast, so we knew that would make an interesting week for the 5 Swedish guys who had decided they wanted to do some excting paddling over here. The weather did what it usually does in this area, this time of the year. That means that it was pretty windy, quite rainy, some sunshine and of course it changed every single day. But in the end, that turned out to be perfect for the course.

So here are some pictures from the course that Nick ran with Tobias, Jesper, Knud, Daniel and Stefan.

If you click the pictures, they will be presented in a light box.

The first day served us sunshine and great conditions to explore the coastline between Porth Darfach.
