Trekking to the far end of the world - Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Hidden away from the rest of the world, Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Patagonia, Chile is a beautiful gem that completely blew my mind during our 5 day trek last week. I still dream about it every night and can't wait to go back.

What is it about lighthouses?

I love lighthouses. And I know I'm not the only one. The attraction lighthouses has on me is equivalent to what lots of people feel when they see a brand new Aston Martin in the street or probably how a horse enthusiast feels when a proud Arabic horse is running across the fields in the sunset. A kingdom for a silver kayak

Pia Sjöstedt is one of the most warm hearted persons I know and she is, apart from being a wonderful friend and a very good sea paddler, a talented artist and designer. A while ago she started to create small outdoor inspired pendants in silver clay and the tiny little silver kayaks she makes, are just adorable.

Every jewellery she makes is unique and the time and energy Pia puts into these small miniature kayaks results in beautiful art pieces. They say that you can never get one too many when it comes to kayaks. So why not add a silver kayak to your collection? It can follow you where ever you go or where ever you paddle. You can even wear it when you sleep!

If you're interested in taking a closer look at Pia's art work, please visit her website: www.silverkayak.com

So, is it a Romany, an Alaw Bach, a Nuka or maybe an Avocet?
