Wales is full of Scandinavian girls!
So after the Swedes left the county, a bunch of Scandinavian female paddlers took over and made the Welsh waters unsafe for a week. And what a great time we had!

Late report from the Paddle Expo |
During three days in late September (18-20th) there was a big canoe- and kayak show in the southern parts of Germany. Paddle Expo took place in Nuremberg, Bavaria, to be more correct. Here you'll find lots of canoe- and kayak manufacturers side by side with paddle gear producers and a whole gang of Stand Up Paddle Board companies. For a devoted sea kayaker, it's like Christmas eve when you walk along the isles full of fancy gear where ever you turn your head. But things are not for sale (thank God for that says my wallet) cause this is a pure trade show and it's not open to the public.
I went there cause I'm involved with a project throug the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) and we had a stand with a Scandinavian Bar to inform the Scandinavian and Nordic manufactureres who where present at the show that the SOG exists and that we could hopefully support the companies in their work with international business. Next year we hope to be able to create a Scandinavian Village, which is super popular at other big outdoor shows like ISPO Munich and Outdoor Friedrichshafen.
