Behind the scenes
Winter is over and spring is arriving. Green Adventures has been spending the winter in the Alps but is now changing the mountains for the ocean. It's time to hit the water!
Soon on a screen next to you.
The Sea Kayak Essentials Volume 2 is soon here. It's an instructional DVD about safety and rescue techniques on the ocean. And I think you might recognize a few of the paddlers in the video...
Wales is full of Scandinavian girls!
So after the Swedes left the county, a bunch of Scandinavian female paddlers took over and made the Welsh waters unsafe for a week. And what a great time we had!
Taking part in a kayak course in the Gothenburg archipelago |
Gustav was to run an Introduction to Sea Kayaking course at the island Styrsö for the kayak company Styrsö kajaker in the southern part of the archipelago that is just outside Sweden's second largest city. He invited me to spend the day with him and the clients. I've never been to that part of the archipelago before so I thought it was a brilliant offer. And what I day he served me!
Sunny, very light winds, pleasant people and a beautiful day on the sea. It was fun to work together on a course like this, to exchange ideas, tips and tricks and enjoy eachothers company. Here are some pictures from the day.
Thanks to Gustav, Styrsö Kajaker and the clients for making it a very good Sunday!
If you click the pictures they will be presented in a Light Box.
