I just can't believe the luck I've had on this trip. Even if I've had some frost, rain, head winds and bad visibility, most of the time it's been one of the best paddle trips I've ever done. Gotland I love you!

May on Gotland is equal to low season. And since there is only 57000 people living on the island, a lot of the coast line is really deserted this time of year. A strange but exciting feeling I think.

I had decided to go anti clockwise around the island. Then I knew I would at least get two days with tailwinds from the start. Unless the weather gods decided to play tricks on me.
